Project description

The construction site is located on the territory of Arcelor Mittal Temirtau JSC, in the south-eastern part of the CHPP-2 site. Construction is expected to be completed in 21 months. The purpose of the project is to increase the capacity and efficiency of CHPP-2 through the commissioning of a new boiler unit st. No. 7. The source of financing is the own funds of ArcelorMittal Temirtau JSC. The commissioning of the new boiler will additionally cover the deficit in the supply of steam to the existing turbines and will allow reaching the optimal power. A new E-420-13.8-560KGT boiler with a capacity of 420 t/h is provided for the installation. The manufacturer of the boiler is JSC "Podolsky Machine-Building Plant (JSC" ZiO ")".
