February 13-17, 2017. USAID Kazakhstan Climate Change Mitigation Program (KCCMP) together with EnEco Solutions LLP have conducted a five-day practical training for GHG verifiers and experts in GHG regulation in Kazakhstan in Karaganda State Technical University.
This training was developed and presented by EnEco Solutions LLP experts in accordance with ISO 14064-3 standards and reporting requirements for GHG inventory and verification in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The training included an overview of ISO standards 14065 and 14064-3, study of verification process, and visit to facilities of KarCement JSC for a case-study on evaluation directly at the enterprise.
The training was attended by verifiers, energy auditors, representatives from the National Accreditation Center, ArselorMittal JSC and Karcement JSC, as well as our company Green Bridge LLC's Director - Vitaliy Kuzin.
During the training, the participants received both practical skills in verification and theoretical knowledge.
